PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The fourth gun in less than two weeks was confiscated at Pittsburgh International Airport Thursday

A Missouri man had the loaded 38-caliber handgun in his carry-on bag when it went through an X-ray machine at a TSA checkpoint.

The gun was loaded with six bullets.

Allegheny County police arrested 59-year-old Donnell Whitcancek of Garden City, Missouri.

He did not have a valid concealed weapons permit, was arraigned and released.

On Wednesday, a stolen handgun was found in a Florida woman's carry-on.

 TSA can issue civil penalties in excess of $13,000 for attempting to carry firearms through checkpoints.
