61 New COVID-19 Cases In Allegheny County

    PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) The Allegheny County Health Department has released their daily COVID-19 update and stated that there are 61 new confirmed of probable cases in the area.

    Since the beginning of the outbreak, there have been a total of 8,857 cases of coronavirus in Allegheny County.

    The Health Department also added one new death from coronavirus, brining the death toll to 259.

    Four new hospitalizations brings the total number to 734 past or present cases needing extra medical assistance.

    Of the 61 new cases the age breakdown is as follows:

    0-12: 0 cases

    13-18: 7 cases

    19-24: 10 cases

    25-49: 12 cases

    50-64: 18 cases

    65+: 14 cases
