PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pitt and Penn State will face off this Saturday night at Heinz Field.

Dean Devore, AccuWeather Meteorologist and Penn State Public Address Announcer, joined KDKA Radio on Thursday to tell us what kind of weather to expect on Saturday.

Before the game on Saturday, what will the weather be like for tailgaters?

"A front kind of sags through here. During the day Saturday, that front may sag south enough that we stay dry during the day, low 70’s," Devore said.

"Then I’m worried that frontal boundary is close enough and some of that moisture from Gordon starts to run along it and starts to get in here."

What will the weather be like at kickoff on Saturday?

"Humid, not overly warm, probably temperatures upper 60’s during the game. I could see at least a couple of showers, hopefully the steady rain would hold off till later Saturday night," Devore tells KDKA Radio.

"It is going to be a close call. I would start planning now to have at least a poncho, or something for at least a couple of showers."

What will the weather be like in Cleveland on Sunday for the Steelers game?

"Temperatures will be cool. I think temperatures during the day in Cleveland don’t get out of the 60’s, maybe to 70," Devore added.

"I think the steadiest rain for Cleveland might be Sunday morning."
