PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - So far in April, just over 3.33 inches of precipitation has fallen in Pittsburgh. The average for the month is about 3 inches.

That total is expected to go up tonight when some snow comes through the area.

With temperatures falling, AccuWeather meteorologist Elliot Abrams tells the KDKA Radio Morning News the area could see an inch or two of snow overnight, causing slippery conditions on the roads Tuesday morning.

“[The snow] is going to be spotty. There will be places that don’t get a thing, places where the roads are too warm, other places will be slippery so there could be some delays tomorrow morning.”

So almost a month into spring, Larry and John will have the KDKA NRG Storm Center open if needed early Tuesday morning.
