Allegheny County Adds 25 New Cases For A Total Of 290

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - There are 25 additional cases of coronavirus in Allegheny County Monday morning, to bring the total to 290.

The Allegheny Health Department says that 38 total have been hospitalized, three more than Sunday and the number of dead remains at 2.

A majority of the cases are in the age 19-24 age range followed by 50-64, and then 65+.

All patients who have tested positive are either hospitalized or quarantined at home.

Over the weekend, daily increase slowed from jump in 61 cases Friday into Saturday.

The county also has a map where you can see how many cases are in your community.

Pennsylvania will update its numbers around noon.
