Allegheny County Has 14 New Cases of COVID-19

Four new deaths were also reported

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Allegheny County Health Department has announced its COVID-19 update for Saturday, May 23.

There have now been 1,753 positive cases in the county.

The number of cases jumped up by 14 from Friday's number of 1,739.

There have been a total of 317 hospitalizations throughout the county, either ongoing or in the past, which is up three from 314 on Friday.

There have also been 150 confirmed or probable deaths related to coronavirus.

There were four new reported deaths from Friday, May 23.

The 25-46 age group is still the most affected demographic with almost 600 of the cases being within that range.

The Allegheny County Health Department has a digital map that can be used to follow the positive cases and their locations and densities across the county.
