School Bus Driver Dead After Crash In North Sewickely

NORTH SEWICKLEY, Pa. (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A school bus driver is dead after a crash in Beaver County Friday afternoon.

The bus crashed into a utility pole and caught on fire in North Sewickley Township at the intersection of Mercer and Foster Roads. 

The impact of the crash snapped the utility pole and brought down some wires. 

The North Sewickley Police Department confirms to KDKA Radio that the driver died at the scene after stepping on the live wires and getting electrocuted.

No word on what caused the crash. 

No students were on the bus at the time.
