Aurora Packing Company Recalls Over 62,000 Pounds Of Beef Products

The recall is for over 62,000 pounds of raw beef products due to possible E. coli contamination.

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is recalling over 62,000 pounds of raw beef products due to possible E. coli contamination.

The raw beef products in question were packaged at Aurora Packing Company Inc. and were shipped nationwide. The products under recall were packaged on April 19, 2019 and have an establishment number “EST. 788” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The FSIS reminds consumers to check their freezers for recently purchased raw beef products.
