Bill Would Ban Handheld Cell Phone Use In PA

The bill now goes to the full House for consideration

HARRISBURG (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A bill that would ban cell phone use while driving in Pennsylvania has advanced in Harrisburg.

The House Transportation Committee approved legislation that would make hand-held cell phone use illegal for drivers.

 The five states bordering Pennsylvania already have similar bans. The bill now goes to the full House for consideration. ​
