PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) – Since Hurricane Florence has left parts of the Carolina’s destroyed; Brother’s Brother is continuing to supply aid.

Luke Hingson, President of Brother’s Brother tells the KDKA Radio Afternoon News, “We have some trucks with supplies already down there and others planned to arrive next week.”

“We are also working with the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank and we are assisting them with a delivery of baby food, protein bars, and some other items that will be sent tomorrow to the food bank in South Carolina just north of Charleston.”

“So we have deliveries leaving Pittsburgh tomorrow, others already there and others in the planning stages for next week.”

Hingson adds that some medical supplies are also needed, “The hospitals were not washed away like they were in Puerto Rico, so there isn’t too much need, but personal hygiene supplies are needed, like shampoo, soap and toothpaste.”

Brother’s Brother is always looking for donations so if you are looking to donate visit their website https://www.brothersbrother.org/.

Hingson says, “You can write a check for U.S. Hurricanes, or you can write a check to Brother’s Brother.”
