Cinemark Theaters in Pittsburgh To Reopen July 3

Enhanced cleaning measures will be in place

    PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Cinemark move theaters in the area announced Wednesday morning it is reopening theaters in the Pittsburgh area.

    One its website, Cinemark says the Robinson and North Hills locations will open on July 3.

    Monaca and Monroeville locations will reopen the week after.

    Safety and cleaning measures will be in place. They say their cleaning standards “meets or exceeds CDC and WHO guidelines.”

    Rest rooms, kitchens, restaurant, bars, concession areas and other high-touch areas will be cleaned every 30 minutes.

    Theater auditoriums will be will disinfected every morning with pressurized sprayer equipment and seats will be sanitized after every movie.

    More fresh air will be cycled through the theater as well with enhanced air filters.
