DETROIT (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Body cam video shown in a Detroit courtroom Thursday shows Allegheny County Controller Chelsa Wagner arguing with police and allegedly blocking them front entering an elevator last month.

Wagner and her husband, Khari Mosley, were involved in an altercation with police at the Westin hotel in March as they were escorting her Mosley out of the building at the request of management.

“This is my husband, I’m the highest elected official in my county,” said Wagner in the video. “I understand what goes on, I understand.”

Thursday, after watching the body cam video that allegedly shows Wagner putting her hands on an officer, a judge ruled Wagner will stand trial on a felony count of resisting and obstructing police.

She’ll be arraigned on April 25. Her husband is charged with misdemeanor disturbing the peace.
