Deaths In Allegheny County From COVID-19 Surpass 100

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) Allegheny County has officially passed 100 deaths due to Coronavirus.

In their daily report, the Allegheny County Health Department has confirmed an additional 14 cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 1,333.

The report also stated that there were three new deaths bringing the total for Allegheny County to 102.

The first cases of COVID-19 were reported on March 14, the first death was confirmed on March 19.

As counties in the north west portion of the state have been moved to the yellow phase of Gov. Tom Wolf’s plan to reopen, Allegheny County remains in the red phase.
