PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The 2020 Farmers’ Almanac came out this week and the experts are predicting a polar coaster winter.

This means you better be ready for some ups and downs.

“January 4th-7th it talks about snow, 48 inches, then it says 8th-11th, a winterlude, which means warming up. Then the 12th to the 15th, says snowy,” said Peter Geiger, Farmers’ Almanac Editor, during an interview with KDKA Radio on Wednesday.

You can find the entire winter outlook in the book, as well as some other interesting features.

“We also have items on how to naturally get fleas off your pets, next year is going to be the 100th anniversary of the suffrage, so we have a great story about how that all came about and who was responsible,” Geiger explains.

“Then we have a love or hate it, so we went in to what is the worst weather and where can you find it.”
