PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Allegheny County Health Department says a feral cat has tested positive for rabies.

The Health Department says the cat was found near the 440 block of James Street in North Versailles.

They warn to wild and stray animals, even if they are acting normal.

If you see an animal acting strange or threatening call police, the PA Game Commission or local animal control services.

It is also recommended that you keep your pets up-to-date with their shots.
