PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Former Steelers Linebacker Arthur Moats released a new book entitled Moats Theory of Life: A Guide to Becoming a Person of Impact and Inspiration

“I wanted to do something that was going to help people be impactful, almost a literature or a guide to help people become more inspirational, become better people,” Moats said during an interview with KDKA Radio on Tuesday.

“Regardless of which stage of life they're in, there are always ways to be more impactful, always ways to be more inspirational, always ways to continue to be better.

The book includes some of Arthur’s personal experiences, but his message is to inspire others.

“Regardless of the current situation, understanding that if you continue to press forward, if you continue to just take it one step at a time, you're going to look back on these situations that you overcome and your character from it is going to be so much better. Your endurance, your understanding of what you're willing to go through or what you’re able to overcome is going to be so much greater,” Moats explains.

Proceeds will benefit the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation.
