Gas Prices Continue To Rise Around Pittsburgh

Gas rose almost another 6 cents in the past week

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - With the Memorial Day holiday weekend just days away, gas prices are jumping.

AAA says the price for a gallon of regular unleaded leapt nearly six-cents in the past week to sit at $3.14. The national average rose a little over 4 cents per gallon.

The price is nearly 19 cents higher than a month ago and almost 50 cents higher than a year ago. Local prices continue to remain well ahead of the national average of $2.92.
