Western PA Gas Prices Drop As The National Average For December Hits Two-Year Low

Good news for anyone traveling this holiday season

National gas prices reach 2-year low, PA sees prices decrease

Western Pennsylvania is seeing the benefits of the gas price decrease that is happening nation-wide.

This week alone, the prices in Western PA are 7 cents cheaper at $2.60 per gallon.

Prices in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the country are seeing an average of $2.70, or cheaper, per gallon. And the good news continues with a look at gas prices being 15-cents cheaper going into the holiday travel season.  

If you are traveling out of state, prices are currently at the lowest in the month of December since 2016, averaging around $2.37 per gallon, with that price projected to continue to go down as 2018 comes to an end.
