PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The most wonderful time of the year is quickly approaching for the Irish and anyone else who loves a parade and beer.

St. Patrick’s Day is on March 17 and website Delish has rated Mullaney’s Harp and Fiddle Irish Pub in the Strip the best Irish pub in all of Pennsylvania.

The idea of the Harp and Fiddle came to Anne, Mullaney, Brian Mullaney and Sean Patrick Murphy while they were drinking at a Pittsburgh German bar and decided the area needed a real Irish Pub.

The Harp and Fiddle has been a staple at 2329 Penn Avenue since 1992 and is a wonderful place for a pint of Guinness or a plate of shepherd’s pie.

The pub also features a wide-variety of live Irish music and you can see their schedule on their website.
