90 New Cases; Highest Increase Of COVID-19 In Allegheny County Since Start Of Spread

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) The Allegheny County Health Department has announced the single highest increase in daily cases since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic.

In the last 24 hours there have been 90 new cases of COVID-19 in Allegheny County, bringing the total to 2,472.

Of the 90 new cases, 77% were aged 19-44.

38 cases are aged 19-24; 31 cases are aged 25-49.

These cases are being assigned to case investigators to gather information to begin contact tracing.

Additional information on case investigations will be given next week.

No new deaths were reported.
