After a long hiatus “Murphy Brown” is back on television and on its debut episode Thursday night and Democratic Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton made a cameo…of sorts.

The former Secretary of State was interviewing to be Brown’s (played by Candace Bergren) new secretary. Clinton introduced herself as “Hilary Clendon”.

“My name is spelled with one L,” said Clinton to a shocked Brown

Implying she is still looking for a job, the former presidential candidate said she can handle the demanding job of being Brown’s secretary.

“I want you to know I am not afraid of hard work. I’m qualified and ready on day one,” said Clinton.

She also joked about her trouble with emails. When asked if she has internet and email experience. Clinton said, “Emails, yeah, I do have some experience with Emails.”

The scene ends with Clinton handing Bergren her card that has her contact: Hilary@YouCouldaHadMe.com

Murphy Brown returned to CBS Thursday for the first time in 20 years.
