Library Book Returned 43 Years To The Day It Was Due

MONROEVILLE, Pa. (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - An overdue book was returned this week to the Monroeville Public Library 43 years to the day it was borrowed.

In a Facebook post, the library says “The Man Who Saved Robinson Crusoe” by James Poling was returned Tuesday.

It was checked out on August 4, 1977.

The library wants everyone to know the Monroeville Library is fine free, so you can feel free to return overdue books.
