PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania, John Fetterman, joined KDKA Radio on Tuesday morning to reflect on the life of Officer Calvin Hall.

The former Mayor of Braddock, Fetterman had the opportunity to meet Officer Hall in the past.

“He went above and beyond and really exemplified what I would describe as the very best of a community centered policing approach,” Fetterman said.

Officer Hall was dedicated to connecting and keeping his neighborhood safe.

“It’s not just sit in your cars and respond to calls,” Fetterman explains.

“Understand the community, get to know the community, and develop a relationship.”

Officer Hall set that example every day.
