PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Luke Bryan is coming to Heinz Field on Saturday.

Nick Sero, Heinz Field Corporate Communications Manager, tells the KDKA Radio Morning News concert goers need to take the heat seriously.

“The heat index is going to be way up there. So we definitely want fans to plan accordingly. Just make sure you pack enough water or you get prepared,” Sero said.

Nick also said his team is preparing to help people stay cool,

“We will obviously have people around monitoring the situation and we will have water for sale. We will be doing what we can to keep fans cool.”

Sero told listeners that Heinz field has paired up with a navigation application to help people avoid protests and areas with heavy traffic. Sero told KDKA,

“We started a partnership with Waze, a GPS app that folks can down load on their smart phones.” He continued,

“We have real time access to it. As we know where there are street closures and where folks are demonstrating, you can update the Waze GPS app and help get you directly to circumvent the traffic or road closures.”

Gates open at 4:00 p.m.
