PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A concert, rally and a demonstration march are scheduled in downtown Pittsburgh Saturday.

At 11 a.m. there's a rally at Mellon Plaza in support of immigrant families. At about the same time, former WPXI news anchor Darieth Chisolm will lead a March Against Revenge Porn from the City-County Building to Point Park University.

In the afternoon, tens of thousands of Luke Bryan fans will turn out for his concert at Heinz Field. Stadium spokesman Nick Sero tells the KDKA Radio Morning News the weather will be a factor for concert goers, especially those who show up for tailgating in the afternoon.

"The heat index is going to be way up there so we definitely want fans to plan accordingly. It's going to be a great show to come and hang out in the parking lots beforehand. Just make sure you pack enough water and you get prepared."

Parking lots open at 1 p.m. and all fans that enter the North Shore lots must have a ticket to the concert and must enter Heinz Field by 7 p.m.  Concert-goers will have one hour to clear the lots after the show. The first act goes on at 5 p.m.

Drivers should plan on midday delays in the Downtown area and the North Shore. Sero recommends concert goers download Waze, a traffic and navigation app.

"We have real time access to it, so as we know where there's street closures and where folks are demonstrating, we can update the Waze app to get you directions that'll circumvent closures."

Sero also suggests following Heinz Field on Twitter: @heinzfield ‏
