PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto is supporting a state appeal of a ruling that Pennsylvania's bid to bring Amazon's second headquarters to Pittsburgh or Philadelphia should be made public.

The state's open record office ruled that the proposals should be made public earlier this week. The state's open record office ruled that the proposals should be made public earlier this week.

Peduto has also fought efforts to release Pittsburgh's bid before Amazon reaches a decision. He says while Pittsburgh isn't offering as much in the way of financial incentives,

“We tried to make it up in ways that we can partner with Amazon on helping to make the deal better for the entire region,” said Peduto.

The state's Office of Open Records has ruled that the bids should be made public.

Pittsburgh is one of the final 20 cities on Amazon's list to open a second headquarters.
