PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The state of Pennsylvania is actively easing some of the rules regarding medical marijuana amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Some of the modifications include:

         - Consultations do not need to be in person.

         - You can sign up for deliveries.

         - Dispensary employees can meet you in the parking lot and have items handed to you.

         - You can now get up to a 90-day supply.

“What common sense changes can we relax or make - that allows patients to get the medicine that they need,” Lt. Governor John Fetterman said on the KDKA Radio Morning Show.

The former mayor of Braddock holds “constant conversations” to help optimize the state’s medical marijuana program.
