PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Mount Lebanon man convicted of fondling a sleeping woman on a flight from Las Vegas to Pittsburgh will spend three months in a halfway house.

Wei-Ming Shi pleaded guilty last October and faced up to a year in prison plus fines.

Investigators say 58-year- Shi was returning from Las Vegas on August 18th 2016 when he put his hands under the woman’s dress.

She woke up and alerted a flight attendant who had police meet the plane at Pittsburgh International.

Federal officials say at no time did the woman consent to Shi's conduct or give him permission to touch her in the manner described.
