Ballpark food

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - There are some new food items headed to PNC Park for the 2019 season.

Keith Petrie, Aramark General Manager at PNC Park, joined KDKA Radio on Monday to preview what’s on the menu.

Shipwreck Sundae

“It’s pretty much two jumbo marshmallows that are coated in chocolate, and then we roll it in a dusting of graham crackers. We serve it on top of Rivendale Ice Cream in a souvenir helmet sundae bowl,” Petrie tells KDKA Radio.

You can find it in section 107 at the Sweet Spot.

The Pittsburgh Cone

Includes: Kielbasa, pierogis, sauerkraut and Russian dressing.

“You can eat it straight up like a cone, but we also serve it on a tray so you can tilt it on its side,” Petrie said.

This will be featured at the Familee BBQ in section 132.

Cinnamon Chipotle-Loaded Totchos

“It’s a heap of tater tots and we cover it with cinnamon spice pulled pork, grilled red and green onions, and then a drizzle of chipotle-maple syrup glaze on top of it all,” Petrie explains.

It can serve 2-4 people, and can be found in section 144 at the Riverwalk Grill.

Jolly Roger S’mores

“Soft brownie, graham cracker and marshmallow served in a large iron casket for friends and family to share in their suite,” Petrie addded.

Offered only on the suite level.
