Beaver County Announces Warming Center Locations

Warming centers are open to the public when the temperatures drop below 32 degrees.

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – Beaver County warming centers locations have been announced for those in need of shelter to get out of the cold.

Warming centers are open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) when the temperature is below 32 degrees.

The following are participating locations:

  • The Cornerstone located at 600 6th Street in Beaver Falls
  • New Brighton Municipal Builidng located at 610 Third Ave in New Brighton
  • Uncommon Grounds Café located at 380 Franklin Avenue in Aliquippa

The Center for Hope (740 Park Road in Ambridge) is also available from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and on Thursdays from 11 a.m. until 6:30 p.m., and hot meals are also available on Thursdays.
