OAKMONT, Pa. (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Customers are flocking to Oakmont Bakery for their newest Pittsburgh creation, and hopefully avoiding pot holes getting there.

The bakery unveiled their latest creation on Friday, the Pittsburgh bus pothole donut.

Retail store manager Michael Sullivan says the donut is covered with chocolate icing, Oreo crumbs to simulate the road and in the hole in the middle is a photo of the bus (not edible) sticking out!

Sullivan says a post of Facebook has already gained over 1,000 likes and they expect a big demand for the treat.

The idea for the donut came after the bakery decided they had to do something after Monday’s incident.

The donut is available in their store and you can get more information here.
