PA Turnpike To Reopen All Service Plaza Bathrooms And Food Service

HARRISBURG (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission has announced that all 17 service plazas will reopen starting Friday, March 20 at 7 a.m.

Bathrooms inside will be open 24 hours and portable toilets will stay outside for about a week.

Food will be available on a limited basis starting Friday at 8 a.m. through 6 p.m.

 After that, food will be available for take-out only between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. until further notice except the North Midway and Valley Forge locations which will offer food 24 hours a day.

One food service station will be open per location with a limited menu. 

Fuel and convenience stores inside plazas will continue to operate 24 hours a day.
