PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pat Thomassey, attorney for former East Pittsburgh police officer Michael Rosfeld, told KDKA Radio's Marty Griffin Saturday morning that his law firm in Monroeville was targeted and hit by several gunshots sometime overnight.

Rosfeld was charged with homicide for shooting 17-year-old Antwon Rose II during a traffic stop last June. The jury started deliberations shortly after 4:30pm on Friday and delivered the not guilty verdict just after 9:00pm that same night.

"Now you're talking about your life, your livelihood," Marty Griffin told Rob Pratte on KDKA Radio Saturday morning. "[Thomassey]'s on the phone with his employees this morning, saying we have to rethink where we are working, his office was shot up. What is that, Rob? What kind of message does that send?"

Griffin told Pratte that the Monroeville Police Department is investigating the shooting. No injuries were reported at this time.
