Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Cancels Shows Due To Coronavirus Pandemic

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is the latest entity to cancel and/or postpone events amid the Coronavirus Pandemic. 

In a statement, the Trust said "all Pittsburgh Cultural Trust performances, exhibitions, films, and events through April 6 have been cancelled or postponed."

Coronavirus has forced museums, businesses and events in the Pittsburgh area and across the country to postpone or cancel including Live Nation, Stage AE, the Pittsburgh Symphony, the NHL, NBA, MLB and many others.


Late afternoon on Thursday, the Westnern PA saw its first confirmed case of Coronavrus. The State Department of health confirmed that an adult in Washington County tested positive. 

Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto state of emergency for the city of Pittsburgh and, as of Monday at 9am,  gatherings of people more than 250 will be banned.
