Pittsburgh Fire Fighter Arrested In Virginia For Sexual Misconduct With Minor

An FBI complaint says Brian Kosanovich believed he was going to have sex with a 10-year-old girl and her mother

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A City of Pittsburgh firefighter was arrested Thursday in Virginia and charged with multiple charges for sexual misconduct with a minor.

The city of Pittsburgh says the allegations against Brian Kosanovich, “are deeply disturbing.”

The charges stem from an FBI investigation.

A criminal complaint from the bureau says he traveled to have sex with what he thought was a 10-year-old girl and her mother.

He was arrested at a Virginia Chili’s location  

Kosanovich has been removed from duty and is placed on unpaid administrative leave while and administrative investigation is underway.

Pittsburgh Public safety says they have no further comment at this time.
