Pittsburgh Once Again Voted A Most Livable City

We rank 2nd in the U.S. according to a new report

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pittsburgh is once again near the top of a list of the most livable cities in the United States.

The Economist Intelligence Unit’s Global Livability Index for 2018 ranks Pittsburgh as the second most livable city in the U.S. and 32nd worldwide

Honolulu, Hawaii ranks first in the country and 23rd worldwide.

The Index ranks stability, healthcare, culture and environment, education and infrastructure to come up with an overall rating.

Pittsburgh came in with a score of 92.1 out of 100.

In each individual category Pittsburgh scored 90 in stability, 91.7 in healthcare, 87.7 in culture and environment, 100 in education and 96.4 in infrastructure.
