Police Make Several Arrests In Connection With Carjackings

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pittsburgh Police have made several arrests in connection with a series of carjackings.

Investigators say the latest incident happened yesterday afternoon around two when police responded to the 7300 block of Reynolds Street in Point Breeze after a 66-year-old man was car jacked by three teens.

 Police were later tipped off that the car was seen In Homewood.

When police spotted the car on Monticello Street in Homewood North, four men and a woman all fled the car but were quickly arrested.

Police say one of the teens is responsible for two carjackings that happened Monday.

He's currently in the Shuman Detention Center. It's not known what charges the other teen face.
