Pittsburgh Police Seek Public’s Help Finding Suspected Cigarette Thief

Suspect accused of stealing from a Banksville gas station

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) – Pittsburgh Police detectives are trying to identify a man wanted in connection to a gas station theft last month.

Police say the suspect walked into a Banksvilled gas station around 9:30 p.m. on June 26 and asked to buy several cartons of cigarettes. When the clerk placed the cartons on the counter, the suspect is accused of grabbing them and ran out the door without paying.
