PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A new study says that Pittsburgh is the fourth best place in the United States to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

Wallet Hub looked at 17 metrics to find the best places, out of 200 cities, to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day.

They included Irish pubs and restaurants per capita, hotel prices and weather forecast.

The top three cities in front of Pittsburgh are Chicago, Philadelphia and Boston.

New York City Ranked 7th.

Wallet Hub adds 57 percent of American will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and $6.16 billion will be spent this year on the March 17 holiday.

The average American will spend $47 dollars partying this year and 13 million pints of Guinness will be consumed around the world on St. Paddy’s Day.
