Police Looking To Identify Bank Robbery Suspect

Watch: Dollar Bank on Smithfield Street was robbed in June

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Police need help identifying a bank robbery suspect.

Pittsburgh Police say that a black male robbed the Dollar Bank at 537 Smithfield Street back on June 26.

He is believed to be in his late 40s or early 50s with a thin build.

He was wearing a tan baseball cap, sunglasses and had a tan dress suit on at the time of the robbery.

He also had a phone earpiece in his ear.

“He approached the counter and demanded clean bills in various denominations. The suspect fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. At this time there is not an active warrant.”
