PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Allegheny County Police say they have arrested a 17-year-old juvenile who also ran from the car Antwon Rose was in the night he was shot dead by an East Pittsburgh police officer.

Allegheny County spokesperson Amie Downs said in a release that charges will be forthcoming but are not expected today.

The release adds the boy was brought in on separate charges Monday night and police plan to charge him in connection with the June drive by shooting that left a 22 year-old man wounded, but is expected to survive.

County police say East Pittsburgh officer Michael Rosfeld pulled a car over matching the description of the vehicle involved in the drive-by shooting on June 19 when two males fled from the car.

Officer Rosfeld shot Rose three times killing him as he ran and the suspect the police now have in custody is believed to be the other male that fled.

The county will provide additional information once charges have been filed.
