PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) A Port Authority bus driver has tested positive for Coronavirus, marking the fourteenth employee to contract the virus.

The driver last worked on May 5, and is being treated at a local hospital.

Of the 14 positive cases within Port Authority, this is the third case to come from the East Liberty garage.

An outside team has been sent to clean areas the new positive case would have worked, including buses and the garage.

Beginning this week, all employees at the East Liberty garage will have their temperature checked as they enter the building for at least two weeks.

Any temperature above 100.4 degrees will be sent home with pay.

Port Authority has been working to minimize the spread of COVID-19 by disinfecting vehicles, limiting the number of riders, social distancing, and asking passengers to wear face coverings.

As of Friday, 39 employees were being held out of work pending COVID-19 testing and 89 employees had tested negative.
