PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Another blow is coming to traditional newspapers.

It was announced Thursday that the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is going more digital and will only print three days a week.

Newspaper Guild of Pittsburgh Chairman, Jonathan Silver published a letter they received from the publication in a tweet.

The new printing schedule begins September 30 and print editions are expected to be available on Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

The Post-Gazette stopped publishing on Tuesdays and Saturdays last August.

The newspaper’s website and digital app will continue to operate seven days a week.
