Last night President Trump announced his nominee for Supreme Court, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, to replace retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy.

Are you in support of Judge Kavanaugh or do you support the Democrats and want to stop the confirmation?

Bruce Antkowiak, Director of the Criminology, Law, and Society Program at Saint Vincent College tells The Mike Pintek Show, “I think the selection was tactically a very brilliant move on behalf of President Trump because this particular candidate is so well known within the great bubble that is Washington, D.C.

“It is very unlikely that anything is going to come out of the wood work about this candidate that anyone hasn’t already heard of, so it is a very safe choice in the sense that it presents the exact scenario, I think, that strategically the Trump administration wanted.”

Robert Mangino asked Bruce Antkowiak if we should read into how Kavanaugh clerked for Justice Kennedy and he said, “No, it only says that he was a distinguished Yale Law graduate that Justice Kennedy hired.”

Antkowiak also added, “Kavanaugh is a conservative judge that has outstanding credentials, what reason is there to say no to this person?”
