PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The 91st Academy Award Show is almost here.

As the hype continues, a lot of anticipation is building towards Lady Gaga. She is expected to perform the song shallow, from the film, A Star is Born. We do not know if Bradley Cooper will be joining her.

"That is the overwhelming favorite to win best original song," Said CBS Correspondent, Steve Futterman, during an interview with KDKA Radio on Friday morning.

"That may be the sole win for A Star is Born. It's up for eight categories, but probably not going to do that well as far as the overall haul."

On the other hand, Rami Malek may be going home with a little more hardware. He is the favorite to win best actor for his character in Bohemian Rhapsody.

"A remarkable portrayal of Freddie Mercury; you feel like it's really him. He's virtually a shoe-in," Futterman explains.

He also expects Glenn Close to receive honor for her role in, The Wife.

“She will win for best actress. A tremendous, very moving performance by her in that film,” Futterman added.

Moreover, there is one big change to look out for this year; there will be no host.

Instead, Queen with Adam Lambert will be opening the award show.

Tune in to ABC on Sunday at 8:00p.m. to see who will be this year’s big winners.
