PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The polls are open for Pennsylvania's Primary.

The biggest statewide contest will be decided by Republican voters, who will choose one of three candidates to face Democrat Tom Wolf in the governor's race in the Fall.

Polls show Scott Wagner has the lead followed by Paul Mango and Laura Ellsworth, but one poll says 25 percent of Republicans are still undecided.

Another of the spotlight races is in the new 14th Congressional district where Republicans will choose between Guy Reschenthaler and Rick Saccone who lost a very close race a few weeks ago to Democrat Conor Lamb in the old 18th district.

Four Democrats are running on the other side of the ballot, all hoping to pull off an upset in the Fall like Lamb.

There are also contests for lieutenant governor and several other U.S. House races in new districts.

A few local polling places got a slow start this morning when a poll worker had a flat tire, and another overslept. All precincts have opened and the county says no one was turned away.
