PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - On Thursday, Robert Levin, the Levin Furniture Chairman, along with Co-CEOs Matt and John Schultz announced the reopening of 17 Levin Furniture and Mattress Store locations.

Under new management, the 17 locations — eight  in Cleveland, nine in Pittsburgh — will be opening for business.

“Finally, we’re back! This has been an exciting time for us as we drove to reacquire Levin Furniture and Mattress Stores for many good reasons,” said Chairman Robert Levin.

“Our customers and associates can once again have access to the quality and commitment of a family-owned business that offers a great place to furnish homes and to work."

A grand reopening is being planned, with details to come at a later date.

The stores were reacquired by Levin and the Schultzs during a bankruptcy process earlier in 2020, in large part because of COVID-19.

The stores operate Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

    4th of July hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
