Seventh Port Authority Employee Test Positive for Coronavirus

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A seventh Port Authority of Allegheny County employee has tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee is a maintenance worker an the Port Authority's garage facility in West Mifflin was the latest to test positive, the third maintenance employee from this facility in four days.

The employee is said to be self-quarantined at home and a crew conducted a deep cleaning of the garage and the employee's work area.

Currently, 68 Port Authority employees are being held out of work pending Coronavirus testing.

A of Monday, there were more than 1,000 cases of Coronavirus across Allegheny County.
