Severe Flooding Wreaking Havoc In Western Pennsylvania

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Heavy rains have caused severe flooding in the Pittsburgh area. A flash flood warning is in effect in Allegheny County until midnight. The National Weather Service says some of the areas that could experience flooding include

Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Ross Township, McCandless Township, Monroeville, Shaler Township, Plum, the North Side, Hampton Township, Scott Township, Wilkinsburg, Robinson Township, and more.

There have also been reports of water rescues in Beth Park on Library and Clinton Roads, South Park on McLaughlin Run Road, and Robinson Township on Campbells Run Road.
