PITTSBURGH (News Radio 1020 KDKA) – When you go to a restaurant, you tip your waiter or waitress.  Now what about tipping your flight attendant?

Marty Griffin and Wendy Bell talked with Kevin Joyce, owner of The Carlton in Pittsburgh’s bustling business, hotel and cultural district about Frontier Airlines encouraging their passengers to tip their flight attendants and how it just isn’t the same as having to tip a waiter or waitress at a restaurant.

Joyce disagrees with the idea and says, “I don’t think it’s a great practice, its only one airline but it does seem like these folks are already being paid well.”

One listener weighed in who has flown Frontier Airlines and said, “I would not tip them, they charge you for everything, the plane itself is very tiny, you’re smashed in like sardines and you pay for a seat you’re not even comfortable in.”

So what do you think, should we be tipping our flight attendants?
